Collection registration records, ca. 1847-1939, 1981-1982.

This record series was created to register the holdings of the Warren Anatomical Museum. Includes typescript catalog sheets, descriptive manuscript catalogs, and indices to the collection. Some of the early manuscript catalogs are the basis for A Descriptive Catalogue of the Warren Anatomical Museum by J.B.S. Jackson, published in 1870. Also contains the catalogs of other anatomical collections that were donated or purchased for the Museum, including the Wyman Collection, the Boston Society for Medical Impovement Collection, and the collection of the Massachusetts Medical College, which later became Harvard Medical School.
